#37 – Cheshire Without Abuse

Cheshire Without Abuse

MyCWA – Cheshire Without Abuse is a charity based in Crewe, and has existed for over 40 years to provide emotional, personal and practical support to families affected by domestic abuse, primarily across East Cheshire. This critical support is offered irrespective of gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation and recognises everyone affected by abuse including the abuser, and the wider families involved.

Cheshire Freemasons recognised the value of MyCWA, and initially were delighted to support the charity directly, and then indirectly with our national Masonic Charitable Foundation charity in conjunction with the Centre for Social Justice where MyCWA won the prestigious national family award and a huge additional prize donation of £10,000 as detailed yesterday on the Province of Cheshire social media feeds.
