Cheshire Freemasons have, for many years supported the Hospice of the Good Shepherd based in Backford, Chester. The Hospice mission is to provide the highest quality specialist palliative care for the people of West Cheshire, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Deeside and surrounding areas, who have illnesses that no longer respond to curative treatment.
Caroline Siddall ( Hospice Director of Income Generation ) was grateful to Cheshire Freemasons not only for general funding grants made over the years, but also for providing a specific grant to support community bereavement points allowing people local and quick access to bereavement support when and where it is needed most.
