#7 – Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes

Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes

Kirk Phillips, vice chairman for Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes shared a few grateful words after Cheshire Freemasons donated a brand new motorbike to support the transport of valuable human tissue samples and products across the two counties.

Established in 1969 and staffed entirely by volunteers, Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes transport not just Blood products, but tissue samples, urine, test results, X-rays and CD-ROMS, as well as medical equipment such as masks, syringes and cannulas, and more recently the transport of priceless breast milk helping newborns and their families across the Province.
