#39 – Community Defibrillator
Community Defibrillator
Before lockdown, Cheshire Freemasons learned that the Village Hall at Irby, on the Wirral peninsula was keen to find sponsors for the cost of a much needed wall mounted community defibrillator.
These machines are location noted and supported by all emergency services, and when needed callers to 999 will be given instructions to access and use the machine to save lives.
Cheshire Freemasons and the Cheshire Freemasons Charity quickly decided to support the project, our picture shows the Chair of the village Hall, Mrs. Brenda Leaver-Ireland with Cheshire Freemason Garry Usherwood following installation of the equipment prior to lockdown and social distancing.
