The Sea Cadets have been in existence since 1856. Offering a range of activities to young people such as sailing, windsurfing, powerboating, rock climbing, camping, music and even aviation.
The aim of the charity is life skills, to help young people grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment by developing teamwork, respect, loyalty, self confidence, commitment, self-discipline and honesty.
When the local arm of the Sea Cadets at Bebington asked for a contribution towards the cost of camp beds and sleeping bags, Cheshire Freemasons were able to provide a substantial grant of over £1000 straight away.
