Beechwood Cancer Care in Stockport is a privately funded specialist care and support centre for patients, carers and families of those suffering from life limiting, debilitating and terminal conditions.

 

Working in conjunction with major stakeholders such as MacMillan, each patient enters the care centre and goes through a simple friendly assessment, then half or full day support sessions follow, tailored to the needs of the patient. One to ones, counselling, complementary therapies and group sessions provide a much needed support mechanism at a difficult time.

 

Beechwood needed a large donation in excess of £13,000 for new IT equipment, and approached Cheshire Freemasons for a contribution, we were of course proud to provide the full grant of £13,100.
