The sheds are places where men over 50 can come together to meet, learn and share their skills in a social setting – whilst producing something very tangible for themselves or for others. The sheds are very popular and successful, but the equipment required inside each shed can be a financial hurdle.
Recently, Cheshire Freemasons were delighted to make a single grant of £15,000 in order to support the opening of another Cheshire shed, to provide good local support for both men and women to enjoy learning new skills and making new friends.
