Master Masons Forum Sunday Luncheon

On Sunday 29th October the Master Masons Forum hosted a very successful Sunday lunch at Cheshire View in Chester. The event was arranged by the MMF team lead by Mike Coles the MMF Chairman and was attended W.Bro Paul Massie, APGM for area 1.

The wonderful family event saw masons, family and friends, along with several potential and interested prospective candidates in attendance. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was friendly and happy. The 3 course lunch was magnificent as always from the staff at Cheshire View and W.Bro Derek Brook was on hand with his camera to capture the day.

After lunch W.Bro Paul Massie, gave an over view of the aim of the MMF and promoted the upcoming event at UGLE next August. Where the MMF will be conducting a full day of family entertainment, tours of UGLE, lectures for all to attend. The day will finish with the MMF performing a real 2nd degree ceremony, where all the junior clubs from around the UK will be invited to attend, along with any other brethren that would like to watch this unique event.

The afternoon saw the guest speaker Derek Poulson, deliver a very informative and funny journey around the UK in accents.

During the course of the afternoon, the MMF representatives worked well to host a raffle, Heads & Tails and finished with an auction. The generosity of the all present afforded a grand total over £500 in charity money raised. This will be donated to ‘The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust’ in Millington near Lymm, Cheshire.

All the visitors enjoyed a tour of the lodge rooms and museum guided by members of the MMF. The afternoon was such a success that this event will be repeated annually, dates to be confirmed for next year.
