Prostate Screening – Manor Road 17/03/2018

About 1 man in 9 will be diagnosed with ‘Prostate Cancer’ during their lifetime. ‘Prostate Cancer’ develops mainly in older men. About 6 cases in 10 are diagnosed in men aged 65 or older, and although rare it is increasingly being detected before age 40. The average age at the time of diagnosis is about 60.

Brethren can avail themselves of a FREE check which consists of a non-invasive blood test, although a donation would be appreciated. Guests are welcome for a £10.00 donation.

It takes no more than 5 minutes and could be a life saver. If there is a trace results are reported, directly and privately to the patient, along with any advice and the steps required in pursuit of recommended courses of action.

REMEMBER it is better to be ‘safe than sorry’ and annual tests are recommended the older you get.

Testing will take place at Manor Road Masonic Hall, Wallasey from approximately 9:30am until noon on Saturday 17th March 2018. Go as a Lodge, take you sons and son-in-law and let us try a prevent any unnecessary untimely deaths from this most curable cancer.
