The Band and Drums of the Cheshire Constabulary, under the director of David Woollam will be performing by the kind permission of the Chief Constable of Cheshire Constabulary at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich to support Cheshire Freemasons celebration of their Tercentenary. The band will be aiming to provide a varied and entertaining concert programme which will comprise of Christmas music including the wonderful arrangement of a French Carol Fantasy, a number of Christmas Carols in which Leroy Anderson’s ‘Sleigh Ride’ will be included to name but a few.
The band is also proud to boast it’s own Corps of Drum who not only lead the band on parades and ceremonial occasions but perform with the band in major concert throughout Europe. Entrance is Free with a service collection.
The concert starts at 2.30pm on Sunday 3 December at Nantwich Parish Church in the centre of the Town.
This band are very much in demand, they performed at Willaston Masonic Hall Crewe last year which was a sell out, they have returned at our request in the much larger environment of Nantwich Church, make sure you attend, the performance is really spectacular and its FREE.
