The similarities between Scouting and Freemasonry are enormous, they were the subject of a recent Prestonian Lecture. South Cheshire Lodge has been appointed the Scouting Lodge for Cheshire, on 26 October at 6.15 pm they will hold a “White Table” meeting at Willaston Masonic Hall Crewe to talk to local Scouts in the company of the County Scout Commissioner Graham Phillips about how the two organisation can work together. South Cheshire Lodge invite all Freemasons and ex members of the Scouting Organisation to support this new venture by attending a special introduction meeting. Which will start with a short Lodge meeting, after closing the Lodge will be opened to non-masonic guests for a talk, there will be no meal but a buffet at reasonable cost.
The Province have been very generous towards the Scouts over the past years we now need further support from our Members to cement this important link between Scouting and Freemasonry
Cheshire are anxious to promote Freemasonry amongst the younger generation and this is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how Freemasonry can work with the community. Contact Phil Broadhurst for further details 07803 138768 email@example.com
