Students Organise Gourmet Evening

Students from South Cheshire College’s Hospitality and Events Department are shown handing a cheque for £300 to Area 5 APGM, WBro Simon Richardson, being the money raised by a raffle. As an end of term project, the students organised a Gourmet Evening, it was attended by 56 guests, the students from the catering department cooked and served a sumptuous 5 course meal. A representative of a local wine company explained why he had chosen the wines to accompany each course. The music department of the College provided background entertainment, it was a magical night enjoyed by all! Credit must go to the organisers, Bro Peter Johnson their course tutor (South Cheshire Lodge) and WBro Ron Evans (Provincial TLC Officer) both pictured. Students had asked their course tutor regarding his teddy bear lapel pin, he explained the ethos behind TLC and the rest was history!

One young student will be going to the University of Chester in September, he had a long conversation with the APGM about joining our wonderful Brotherhood, he is 18years old but shows maturity beyond his years and is looking forward to meeting members of the University Lodge of Chester at the Freshers Fair.

Once again South Cheshire Students, WELL DONE AND THANK YOU!
