The Freemasons Grand CharityIn 16 months to the end of March 2015, The Freemasons’ Grand Charity donated over £3.2 million to non-Masonic charitable causes

Medical Research – 7 grants totalling £312,500
Youth Opportunities – 11 grants totalling £469,500
Vulnerable People – 28 grants totalling £1,189,000, plus 44 smaller grants totalling £384,000 for Air Ambulances and similar services (total £1,573,000)
Religious buildings – 3 grant totalling £25,000
Hospices – 241 hospice services received grants totalling £600,000
Emergency grants – 8 grants totalling £107,500
Small grants – Appendix D (pages 43 & 44) lists 53 additional grants of less than £10,000, in the above policy areas, totalling £170,000
