‘Mason’

Hi everyone. I may not be a Freemason, but I feel as though I am. Hundreds of thousands of cousins have been distributed to distressed children in A & E Departments around the country as a result of Masons generosity.

My name is MASON the travelling BEAR, and I have a world record. I was strapped to the handlebars of a Harley Davidson motorbike and went to every capitol city (26) of the E U in 21 days accompanied by two Cheshire Masons. We made loads of money for Alderhey Children’s Hospital and BLESMA the Injured Serviceman’s Charity.  I have been on a half marathon in New York Central Park with a load of Police Officers’ and joined them at the top of the new World Trade Centre.

I have taken a relaxing holiday in Tenerife and have been on a quad bike in Bulgaria.  I have spent five hard hot days trekking through the Grand Canyon, and then had a ‘chill-out’ in Las Vegas.

I have flown all the way to Australia and taken the Sydney Harbour Ferry under that great bridge and in front of the Sydney Opera House. I have done a bungee jump (but I had my eyes closed) and I have also been on the handlebars of a bike which visited all the Masonic Halls in Cheshire in three days.

On all my adventures I have been accompanied by a Cheshire Freemasons.  They make great friends and are very generous.  They all seem to be men of good character, who have great principles and morals. Oh, and by the way, they all seem to know how to have great fun whilst helping out their fellow humans.

If I wasn’t a bear, I think I would try and be a Freemason.
