The Royal Arch in Camera – Your Chapter in Focus

The Grosvenor Chapter No.721 played host to the Provincial Demonstration Team on Tuesday 25th September at Cheshire View, Freemasons’ Hall, Christleton. Excellent Companion Timothy Dobbs MEZ of The Grosvenor Chapter welcomed distinguished guests; Excellent Companion Philip Edward Rowland, PGStB Second Provincial Grand Principal, Excellent Companion David Allen Williams, PGStB APGP Area 5, Excellent Companion Stephen Philip Christian, PGStB APGP Area 1, Excellent Companion David Robert Littler, PGStB. Provincial Grand Stewards; Excellent Companion James Chunghung Tang and Excellent Companion Lawrence Karl Williamson to the Chapter.

The Royal Arch in Camera – Your Chapter in Focus – is a playlet to give an explanation of something of the history and symbolism of the Royal Arch and to give Companions some guidance about the protocols and procedures in a Chapter, explain the characters portrayed in the various offices and point out some important aspects of symbolism in the allegory of the Royal Arch story.

The Provincial Demonstration Team comprising of Excellent Companions Simon Kirkby, John Horrocks, Peter Steel and Companion Nick Breese gave a wonderful detailed account of the history, roles and derivation of the Chapter Officers, the Rituals and Regalia worn by Royal Arch Companions.

This demonstration is a must for any Companion requiring more information about Royal Arch, no doubt it will be repeated at some time in the future, please come along and enjoy a splendid evening.
