South Cheshire are off with a tremendous start, the Provinces new Scouts Lodge entertained Graham Phillips County Scout Commissioner for Cheshire and WBro Tony Harvey the author and presenter of the Prestonian Lecture of “Scouting and Freemasonry two Parallel Organisations” at a very special meeting on 26 October where 65 members and scouts attended Willaston Masonic Hall to enjoy a buffet supper coordinated by WBro Phil Broadhurst. Phil and Tony talked about Scouting and Freemasonry in a way never before explained and how the two groups could work closely together in the future for the benefit of both organisations. Feedback after the meeting was very positive with many young men finding a great interest in Freemasonry. Next month the South Cheshire Lodge will host the PGM at a special meeting and dinner where all Sandbach and Crewe Lodges are invited to attend.
Paul Massie APGM attended to represent the MMF and Cheshire Province.
