Samaritan Lodges’ Charity Lunch Down on the Farm

Two Hundred and Seventy members, partners, family and friends attended Samaritan Lodge Summer Family Lunch at Churches View Farm Kelsall on Sunday 16 July.  Lunch was served in a massive marquee erected on one of the farm meadows on a bright summers day, the afternoon was hosted by the Master of Samaritan Lodge  WBro Geoff Newsome and his wife in aid of Cancer Research, Springfields Special School at Crewe and other Masonic Charities.

Members and guests enjoyed a massive summer salad followed by a selection of sweets or strawberries topped cream or chocolate.  No one went home hungry with second helpings served well into the afternoon.

The children will not forget the day Freemasons invited them to Lunch down on the farm.

drinks during the hot afternoon.

W. Brother Geoff Newsome the host welcomed everyone to the Lunch and thanked them for their generosity.

The massive marquee sufficient to house 270 guests with comfort. Even an old tractor was on display to interest the enthusiasts.
