Sandbach Masonic Hall was the venue for Samaritan Lodge’s first of three Sunday Charity Lunches this year. The hall was packed to capacity with over 100 members, partners and guests all enjoying a traditional local cured Roast Beef luncheon. Members were encouraged to bring along a raffle prize and following sale of tickets generated £1,425.00 which will be donated to local charities in the Sandbach and Nantwich area, the lucky recipients have yet to be identified by members.
Sandbach Lodge has been holding similar Lunches for a number of years, they are very popular, the next will be held at Church View Farm, Kelsall on 16 July in a marquee. Application to attend should be made to the Lodge Secretary.
WM Geoff Newsome and his lady helpers sort out the raffle which generated £1,425 for local Charities.
