WBro Keith Faulkner celebrated in style at his Mother Lodge, Rivacre when he marked his Golden Anniversary on 1 March. Keith who was born is Ellesmere Port, became a Kings Scout, educated at Wirral Grammar, spent time in the Army Cooking and became head of Cheshire’s Special Needs Teaching group. Keith is a “Lewis” his father Wilfred was also a member and long term secretary of Rivacre Lodge. WBro George Mann APGM revived some of the forgotten stories of his life at the Alsager Teachers Training School, Army Catering Corp in Benghazi and how Ellesmere Port Masonic Hall was formed and the present temple constructed and furnished in just 5 months by local freemason builders.
Keith is a keen calligrapher and artist with pictures hanging in the Art Gallery at Budapest, he has an impeccable 95% attendance record and can turn his attention to any part of the ritual at the drop of a hat. During the evening Keith was presented with a bottle vintage Chivas Regal whisky his favourite tipple and a special Cake which he delighted in cutting for everyone to enjoy at the Festive Board.
At the 2016 October Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge member WBro George Griffith was unable to attend to receive his promotion from our Provincial Grand Master, during the evening WBro George Mann APGM congratulated him on his new appointment and thanked him for his work within the Lodge and for the Province.
