Often referred to as a Gentleman Farmer, Excellent Companion David Littler celebrated his 50th Anniversary in Royal Arch during a convocation of Grosvenor Chapter on 28 November. Taking part in the celebration were the Deputy Grand Superintendent Robert Bramley accompanied by Second Provincial Grand Principal Philip Rowland, Third Provincial Grand Principal Rev’d Barry Jobber and David William the Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals for Area Five.
Rob Bramley highlighted the early days of David’s farming career when Farming and Freemasonry were very difficult to combine and when milking got in the way of opening his Chapter at Hunter Street. To mark this special celebration the Companions of Grosvenor Chapter presented David with a Bronze Bull to remind him of his farming career.
During the evening Ex Companion Bill Willetts was promoted to the new rank of PPGSwdB.
