Francis Columbine Lodge start their celebrations to mark 75 years of existence with Sunday Luncheon at Cheshire View. One hundred and sixteen members, partners and fiends enjoyed a five star meal and service, followed by great entertainment presented by Mezzo Soprano singer and star of Proms in the Park, Iona Fisher who sang Italian songs from the Film Titanic, O Mio Babbino Caro and Parla Piu Piano. Their followed a Bumper table raffle, the proceeds of which will be added to the Francis Columbine Charities and presented at a special Meeting of the Lodge in November.
Master John Parker welcomed everyone to the Luncheon and afterwards presented Iona with a large bunch of flowers. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and returned home with some very happy memories and look forward to doing something similar next year.
