Crewe Lodges support Local Scout group

Members of two Craft lodges, South Cheshire 5571 and Crewe 5030 have made substantial contributions to help St Andrew’s Scout Group, based in Crewe, purchase a new Standard, which will be presented to them by the Bishop of Chester, at a special service on 25th September to commemorate 100 continuous years of Scouting.

It is the Provincial Grand Master’s wish to foster good relations between our two organisations and the Lodges generous donations will help further cement that association.

A number of Lodge Members are expected to attend the special presentation, which will take place at St Andrew’s Church in Crewe, which will be supported by the attendance of WBro Mann APGM, the local Press and many excited young scouts.

WBro Mann has thanked the Lodge Members for their tremendous support directed towards the local community and in particular the Scout movement.
