Castle Rock Lodge Waxes Lyrical

It has been a tradition in Castle Rock Lodge No.8962 who meet at Runcorn Masonic Hall to hold a Masonic Poetry Evening, this year members of the Lodge were pleased to be joined by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master WBro Simon Richardson PJGD.

The Worshipful Master, WBro Edward Owen PProvGSwdB started the evening with a selection of Masonic Poems by Rudyard Kipling followed by WBro Simon who read poems by Bro Dr Robert Morris (Past G.M. of G.L. of Kentucky), WBro Walter Yule PJGD continued with a further reading.

The evening came to a close with the reading of a poem accredited to Robert Burns read by WBro Jim McKeeman PAGDC done with his inimitable Scottish accent. But the poem that was the talk of the Festive Board was a Poem called “Ten Master Masons” if you would like to read it click HERE
