Worshipful Brother Terry Crompton PAGDC celebrates 50 years in Freemasonry

Lodge of Godley No 361 hosted a very special occasion last night, when WBro Terry Crompton celebrated 50 glorious years in Freemasonry.

Terry was initiated into Oaklands Lodge No 5356. Oaklands Lodge, Conerstone Lodge No 6330 and Industry Lodge No 361 amalgamated under the renamed Lodge of Godley No 361 in 2008, and since then, the Lodge has gone from strength to strength, and become the largest Lodge meeting at Oaklands, Hyde.

In a very distinguished masonic career, Terry has achieved Grand Rank in the Craft, Royal Arch, Mark and R.A.M. He was a Deputy Grand Superintendent in the Royal Arch, and achieved the very high Office of Deputy Grand High Priest in the KTP.

Very W Bro Alan Glazier, the DPGM and W Bro David Dyson the APGM presented the Celebrant with his certificate, whilst the Lodge presented him with two engraved tumblers and a bottle of malt whiskey.
