East Cheshire NHS Trust Stroke Unit receive funding for equipment

On Monday 29th February at Macclesfield General Hospital, Stroke Unit ,  the Provincial Grand Charity Steward of Cheshire Freemasons, WBro. Colin Ross accompanied by Bro Mark Absom, Area 4 Master Masons Forum representative and WBro Derek W Brook Provincial Communications Officer, met Alison Berry Senior Sister of the Stroke unit to present her with a Cheque from the Cheshire Freemasons Charity (CFC)  for £3,500 

The Stroke Unit has a tremendous reputation for its expertise in treating this life threatening and disruptive condition, but needed mobility equipment.

A wish list was prepared comprising:-

2 No. Tilt in Space Wheelchairs plus lateral supports and tray

plus 4No. Standard Wheelchairs with cushions and a postural support system









The Cheshire Freemasons Charity was set up to provide for such needs within the Community
