£3,105 raised for Francis House in the first Tercentenary Event of the year

A fund raising evening organised by David Littlewood was held at Oaklands Hall, Hyde on Friday 3 March. Over 100 Freemasons, their friends and families, turned out in support of Francis House, a fantastic charity supporting children with limited life expectancy.

They sang along to two great supporting acts and were right royally entertained for well over an hour by Jimmy Cricket, a Patron of the charity, who had the audience in stitches with good, clean fun.

David Ireland, the CEO of the Charity gave his support by his attendance and was presented with a cheque for £3,100 by David Dyson the APGM. £2,000 came from Cheshire Freemasons Charity, and the balance was raised on the night. A further £5 in cash was also handed over to make the books balance!

A great night was had by all, who happily put their hands in their pockets and supported such a worthy cause.
