Townfield De Tatton Lodge 2144 welcomes Scottish Freemasons to their Proclamation Ceremony

WBro David Elly stayed in the chair of King Solomon for a second year at a proclamation ceremony at Sale Masonic Hall on Thursday 11th October. Townfield De Tatton Lodge 2144 welcomed four brethren from the ‘Lodge Biggar Free Operative 167’ from Biggar, Lanarkshire who made the trip down for the occasion. The two Lodges have had a fraternal friendship for over 15 years and visit each other’s installation meetings.

The brief proclamation ceremony was attended by WBro Eric J McConnell, PAGDC the representative of the RW PrGM who was presented with a cheque for £500 to the Cheshire Freemasons Charity and after the business was performed a very lively social board saw a further total of £217 added to the Charity Stewards account.
