Eight Members of John Brunner Lodge (2799) and their Partners, accompanied by seven other Cheshire Brethren and five Partners, embarked on a weekend trip to Northern Ireland on the weekend of the 5th October 2018.
After flying into Belfast International on the Friday morning they took a light lunch hosted by WBro Nigel Burns, Past Master of Bushmills Lodge 414, before heading out for a tour of Bushmills Distillery and of course taking in a few samples.
In the evening the Ladies dined in Portrush with the Ladies of the Irish Lodges whilst the Brethren attended Shalman Lodge 607 as guests of the Master, WBro James McBride.
Saturday morning saw a trip out to Dunluce Castle followed by a visit to the Giants Causeway.
After lunch it was a coastal drive to Ballycastle taking in Ballintoy Harbour, Carrick-a-Rede and the Rope Bridge.
Afternoon tea was taken at Ballintoy Masonic Hall and in the evening, all attended a dinner dance at Rathmore Golf Club.
