Following John Brunner Lodge’s car wash on the 15th April, further charitable donations have been received to bolster the funds raised. The WM, WBro Rob Dunseith, was pleased to present a cheque for £2245.00 to the school on Friday 9th June.
The car wash itself raised £1400.00 on the day and this was generously topped up by another £500.00 by the owners of the Golden Lion, Middlewich, Bro Paul Neal and his partner Annie Holmes. The Golden Lion very kindly hosted the event on the day keeping the Lodge members supplied with an endless supply of tea to keep their energy up.
The remaining £345.00 was donated by Lodge members who were unable to attend on the day to help wash the numerous cars that passed through.
These funds will enable the School choirs to visit events such as the Cheshire Show to perform and entertain the public. Pictured are members of John Brunner Lodge presenting the cheque to choir members and the Choir Director, Miss Nicola Howbrigg.
