John Brunner Lodge, in conjunction with the Golden Lion, Middlewich, held their annual Charity Car Wash on Sunday 15th April.

Over the day (9.00am through to 4.00pm) a relay of Lodge Members and volunteers washed a continuous stream of cars raising the magnificent sum of £1,400.

This is to go to Oaklands Special School in Winsford to help fund their Choirs in attending competitions and concerts.

Since the car wash, Lodge Members unable to attend on the day, have pledged a further £250 to the cause giving a total of £1,650.00.

The school have also secured match funding of £1,000.00 against the funds raised at the car wash.

All in all, a magnificent day.

The WM, WBro Rob Dunseith was lost for words (which is a rarity) at the amount raised and thanked Bro Paul Neal and the rest of the volunteers from the Golden Lion for their hard work over the day.
