On 22nd April, her 70th birthday, Stephanie, wife of Worshipful Brother Keith Brewerton, completed a sky dive over Grange over Sands. Parachuting from 14,000 feet she completed various acrobatic movements before the chute opened at 10,000 feet. This was her first Sky Dive.

She wished to raise £1,000 to hire rooms at Stockport Masonic Hall for a year to assist people who are afflicted with Parkinsons disease. In the event she raised £1,150 from a variety of sponsors.

£500 of these donations came from the masons, specifically:-

  • Congleton Lodge            – £200
  • Saxon Crosses Chapter  – £200
  • Lodge of Benevolence    – £100.

Stephanie would like to thank all the masons who supported her for their wonderful generosity and let them know that the rooms have now been secured for a further year.

In addition, on this busy night, a further cheque of £500 was donated to WBro Andrew Bushell by WBro David Starbucks on behalf of Congleton Lodge. This cheque is to the Reverse Rett Organisation charity.
