On Thursday 30th of November, in a Ceremony presided over by WBro Gary Horstman APGM for Area 2, Phoenix Lodge No. 3236 had their new Lodge Banner Presented and Dedicated in a very enjoyable evening, with just over 50 attendees.
The APGM was supported by a large number of Grand and Acting Team of Provincial officers, including the Provincial Grand Chaplain (W.Bro. Barry Jobber), who blessed the New Banner, all under the watchful eye of the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies (W.Bro. Royston Jones).
The Banner was donated by Eldest lodge member W.Bro. R. H. Meade, and the youngest Master Mason, within the Lodge, Bro. A. M. J. Robinson acted as the Banner Bearer, in a very enjoyable occasion for the Lodge and its many guests.
Phoenix Lodge came into being in 2007, following the successful amalgamation of three Lodges, Lilley Ellis Lodge No. 3236, Riverside Lodge No. 4201, and Rock Jubilee lodge No. 4310, whose banners were all previously displayed when the lodge met. Now of course these have been retired in favour of this new Banner, for the reborn and rejuvenated Phoenix Lodge, as we know it today.
