James Thompson Lodge celebrate 40 years as a guest of George Paterson

The Installation at James Thompson Lodge No:3653, on Thursday 25th April was a double celebration, as we also acknowledged and celebrated 40 Consecutive Years of attending the Lodges Installation meeting by George Paterson, of the Lodge of Dunblane No: IX.

Throughout the Years, George has attended with a strong delegation from Dunblane, even on one occasion with a broken leg, Such has been his commitment, and is at the very heart of the Close working association between the two Lodges.

George was presented with an inscribed Quaich to mark the occasion, which was very quickly put to good use, with the Lodge also presenting a 12 year old bottle of one of his favourite single malts, before being applauded by members and guests.

The Lodge of Dunblane later presented James Thompson’s New Master, Dave Castle, with another Quaich, this time with Iron Bru, as Dave was driving.
