On Thursday 16th November 2017, Hooton Park Lodge No: 8156, who meet at the Masonic Hall in Whitby, were pleased to have its Lodge Banner presented and dedicated in a special ceremony attended by over 75 Masons.
The Banner was donated by the Lodge by the Worshipful Master W.Bro Tom Davies. Before being presented for Dedication, the Lodge’s most recently raised Master Mason, Bro. Neal Perryman presented it. The Banner was dedicated in a poignant Ceremony by the Provincial Grand Chaplain, W.Bro Rev Barry Jobber.
W.Bro Gary Horstman officiated over the ceremony, and was supported by fellow APGM W.Bro George Mann, together with a strong contingent of Grand Lodge Officers and acting Provincial Officers, including the Provincial Grand Wardens and Grand Pursivant and Grand Tyler, who also assisted in the ceremony.
It has been a very successful year for Hooton Park Lodge, who in the last 12 months have hosted a Tercentenary Event for the Area, celebrated the Lodges 50 Anniversary of Formation, and now have had their Banner presented and dedicated, as well as finding time to recently initiate a new brother. We look forward to watching their further success going forward under their new Banner.
