On Saturday 13th May Whitby Masonic hall held a family fun day as part of the Area2 Tercentenary Celebrations, which was supported by a steady stream of visitors
who enjoyed not only the Bridge Community Farms Farmers Market, free bouncy castle, laser shooting , face painting, Embroidery, TLC Appeal etc with members getting suitably involved. Apart from the stalls selling a fair selection from Local produce to bespoke greetings cards etc,
the event was supported by the North West Widows Sons Freemasons Motorcycle Chapter, and attended by the Blood Bikes to whom our APGM was delighted to present a cheque to as a charitable donation for £1500.00.
WBro Derek Brook also kindly attended and manned a table on freemasonry, and managed to attract the interest of few members of the public at least two of whom are applying to join the fraternity
Even the California Highway Patrol turned up.
overall just over £385.00 was raised for local causes, and a further £120 for the TLC and a lot of enjoyment was had by all, on what hopefully will become an annual event
