EPMH played host to the Area 2 family fun day on 13th May 2017, the brethren and their families all rallied together to support the area and charities involved in the event, stalls were set up by local businesses and Brethren of lodges in the area provided entertainment.
AProvGM Gary Horstman was on site to present a cheque to the Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes for the sum of £1,500, a charity which has helped saved many lives and will continue to do so.
Accompanying the blood bikes was the Northwest Chapter of the Widow’s Sons, who also turned up with some very impressive metal.
Treats were put on for the children, face painting was available and there was even ‘beat the goalie’, laser target shooting and a bouncy castle! Although the pictures below would have you believe the grown ups were enjoying this more than the children, I can personally guarantee this probably wasn’t the case!
The Day was a great success only due to the members and their families who assisted with putting everything together, and of course the task of tidying up after the day was finished!
The stalls made £385 on the day which will be divided between the hall fund, local charities and the provincial charity fund, there was also a further £120 raised by these two!
