WBro William Cresswell celebrates 50 years in Freemasonry in Seacombe Lodge

On 2nd December 1965 Mr William Charles Cresswell was initiated into Seacombe Lodge.  On 3rd December 2015 WBro. William C Cresswell PPrSGW celebrated his 50 years in Freemasonry in the presence of WBro. Paul Massie APGM accompanied by WBro George Mann APGM, Grand Lodge Officers, Acting Provincial Officers and many friends stretching from as far afield as Scotland. The Brethren enjoyed listening to WBro Paul Massie recall WBro. Bill’s early life at school in Battersea during the war and his posting in Egypt as personal body guard to Field Marshall Montgomery.  From the history presented on the night of Bills personal life and his Masonic career, it was clear WBro Bill had enjoyed a very interesting and full life to date.   The Brethren are also looking forward to celebrating WBro Bill’s 50 years in the Royal Arch in 2017. The festive board was equally enjoyable with a full room of over 70 brethren sojourning and socialising.
