Heswall Army Cadet Force’s New Ensign

On Tuesday 24th November WBro. Garry Usherwood, Area 1 Charity Representative, met up with the Worshipful Master and Senior Warden of Marlowe Lodge at the Army Cadet Force Heswall for the formal presentation of the ACF Ensign.  WBro. Bill Lucas WM of Marlowe Lodge made a successful application to the CFC Community Fund to help with the purchase of a new ensign.   £225 was given towards the ensign which was proudly displayed recently during the remembrance day parades.

The cadets were particularly appreciative of the help given by the Freemasons and it was a pleasure to have spent the evening in their company looking in on their classes and their parade. The evening was made extra special as it coincided with the Mayor of Wirral, Les Rowland’s visit to the detachment.
