On Saturday 27th February at Wallasey Masonic Hall WBro Michael Horton PPrJGW was installed as the new WM of Manor Lodge No.4202. In attendance on the evening was the representative of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master WBro Peter Sims PAGDC.
The Installing Master WBro. Richard Massie performed an excellent Ceremony, Installing WBro Horton a Past Master in the Lodge into the WM Chair and all under the watchful eyes of WBros Steven Heaton and Jason Bradnock, the Lodge past and newly appointed Directors of Ceremonies. The Working Tools were performed in each Degree by Master Masons of the Lodge – 3rd Degree by Bro Alan Kirwan, 2nd Degree by Bro Lee Hunter and the 1st Degree by Bro Mark Robinson. The Lodge has a full complement of Stewards all eagerly learning the Ritual and all keen to begin their climb up the ladder. Bro Lee Hunter, a Lodge Steward, has already given a faultless explanation of the First Degree Tracing Board and shown the high standard of Ritual which is maintained in the Lodge from the Stewards right through to the Worshipful Master..
The Provincial Senior Grand Warden WBro Simon Richardson and the Provincial Junior Grand Warden WBro Jeffrey Cunningham addressed the respective Lodge Wardens when they were appointed and also gave the Address to the Wardens.
Two cheques were presented on the evening – £1,000 for the Masonic Samaritan Fund and £200 for the TLC Appeal.
The meeting was followed by an exceptional Festive Board with the Representative of the Provincial Grand Master, WBro Peter Sims PAGDC responding to Toast 5.
Another delightful and successful Manor Lodge Installation Meeting and Festive Board ended with the singing of Auld Lang Syne at 10pm
